Baskerville Dawn to Dusk: Bovey

The Bovey cardi by Courney Spainhower is my feature from Baskerville – dawn to dusk today. A gorgeous open front two-colour cardi knit in  lightest Dawn and darkest Dusk Baskerville yarn.

I love how Courtney made this a light slip on layer with mesh detailing at the yoke, especially as Baskerville is a particularly warm blend!

This clever top-down cardi starts like a crescent shawl with an icord cast on. Then the 2-colour striped section is knit in the simplest slip stitch mosaic, so no need to learn how to do colourwork if you’ve never tried it before!

Brilliantly simple and elegant.

I’ve started my own Bovey in Dawn and a new darker version of Baskerville which will be released soon. With even more British Gotland, Baskerville DARK will debut in a range of greys and I’ve called the hue I am using below Nebulous. Suitably murky, no? 😉

Baskerville hues Dusk and Dawn are both currently in shop for this cardigan. I will also have the sample for you to try on, yarn and copies of the book available to purchase at the Yarn Movie Premiere on the 9 October @ 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm.
