One / Five… Braevall!

A glorious new pattern was released last week – Braevall by Emily K Williams, designed in Baskerville Eventide!kettleyarnco_baskerville_braevall_b

A lovely flowing cardi with an interesting mesh insert at the back, light, warm Baskerville makes this a year-round layer.

Here is a description of the cardigan from Emily’s own words:

“As dreamy and romantic as the springtime woods, this cardigan features its very own bluebell carpet, sweeping out from a pleated lace insert.

Gentle A-line shaping and dropped shoulders make it easy to wear, while optional bust darts ensure a perfect fit.

This seamless cardigan is worked in one piece from the bottom up, with sleeves knit down from the armholes. Snap closures and a decorative ribbon-lined button band add the perfect finishing touch.”

This is one of those pieces that will look great on any body shape and can be lengthened and shortened to fit your own personal style. It turns out it will also look great in all the other Baskerville hues…check it out…doesn’t Emily look great in all the hues? 😉
